If it’s Sean Dyche I’m going to burn my season ticket.
I feel bad for him as he was dealt a raw hand in terms of forwards. But the confidence of the players seemed to be dropping from week to week. I think he’s a better coach than he showed here but sometimes things just don’t work out.
If it’s Sean Dyche I’m going to burn my season ticket.
The usual Portuguese suspects are early favourites.
Worryingly Dyche is 6th favourite for the job.
Can't see any chance of Dyche even being offered an interview. This is just the usual bookies speculation.
Well despite my efforts to save Bruno, we are now looking for a new manager. With the World Cup in November, we only have seven league fixtures before Christmas. There is time to make the correct appointment with the two current Wolves U21 and U18 managers taking charge at the weekend against Chelsea.
Loads off names have been pitched into the mix, many I admit I have not even heard off. Martins, Lopetgui, Tuchel, Gensio, Sampaoli, Pocchetino. Amorim, Postecoglou, Villas-Boas, and several more including Dyche.
I am sure Mendis will have a big say in who the new man is, and I strongly suggest that he will need to be a Portuguese speaker.
It would be interesting to know the reason we let our inspirational captain go on loan to one of our rivals. Had there been a fall out?
We have many quality players in the squad and whoever comes in needs to quickly get them playing together and moving us up the table.
Ex Spain and Real Madrid manager Julen Lopetegui sacked by Sevilla.
Can we get him for the second time of asking?
Amorim would seem to be ruled out because of the buy out clause and a desire to stay at Sporting Lisbon, Martins has a verbal agreement in place with Hull so yes I'd say Lopetegui seems a likely solution... Straight back in the saddle for him, not so sure about that after whats been happening at Seville.
Were we not after him before Nuno was appointed, but he was offered the Spanish job, which he took?
