    GSTK..
My final word on the funeral, albeit nicked from someone else's twitter feed; ‘It’s absolutely appalling that the BBC has shown nothing but incessant fawning coverage over the death of the Queen.

‘Not a single Republican voice has been heard on TV. The BBC is doing us a grave disservice. I will write to complain. This is not appropriate in a democracy.’

    The voice of reason, eh?

If you want a discussion on the future of the monarchy, fine, Republicans are never shy of gobbing off about the monarchy anyway, as we know all too well on here. But the Queens funeral is neither the time nor the place for that discussion. The fact that some Republicans think it is just illustrates what sort of scumbags these people are.

I think "you all should be ashamed of yourself" attitude just about sums up the self-rightlessness of your average monarchists sinkov.

Like Shelley once scribed, "It is another reminder that we are all, after all, mortals, but dust and ashes.”

There really are more important things to think about, Cricket England got pasted last night in Pakistan, and the other England are about to get relegated from the "Europa League" (or whatever) tonight in Rome.

And Wolves want Brownhill in January, which all adds a bit of perspective to our post-Brenda woe and lives.

Not at all mon ami, it's an established fact that Lefties, of which ilk all Republicans are, have no shame whatsoever.
