VK has commented that the players who had some value were sold to raise funds for the rebuild. On that basis it is fair to assume that whoever remains is not to perceived to be worth anything.
Barnes could do well in the lower leagues. Likewise, Lowton might also play at a lower level.
As for Long, not many teams need someone to warm the bench.

Long could do a good job in the Championship, Lowton too but I also doubt we would get any money for them.

Just shows at what level our PL team had sunk to.Both Barnes and Lowton were first team starters in the PL and now 6 months later we cannot imagine any team paying a fee for them.We were well and truly shafted by Garlick-the funds were in the dry powder room and now they have wandered into his sky rocket.
