    Scotland game

Brilliant result tonight. I thought they played like Motherwell for the first 70 minutes with lots of fine build up play followed by missed chances.

Kelly was on the bench and with Patterson picking up and injury might there be a call up for O'Donnell?

No kidding, my thoughts exactly. Can they avoid doing what Motherwell usually does and put together two good performances & results in a row? Ireland can be tricky.

I got that wrong. Declan Gallagher has been drafted into the squad. Oh dear.

Was one of the finest performances I’ve seen from a Scotland team in many a year. Then we bring in DG !!

You've got to hand it to that Scotland squad. Brilliant result. Strange feeling seeing us at the top of a group!

Watched it in The Century; a certain SOD was next to me watching it too. He was delighted at the end of the game, but suspect inwardly could’ve been thinking ‘there but for the grace of God …’. And before anyone asks, he was on non-alcohol beverages 👍

Watched the last three games between power cuts here in Pretoria. Strangely, I was much more nervous for the Irish game than for Ukraine in Poland. I have an English colleague and it's really nice to be able to tease him about Group A, Group B etc. Would still love to see Kelly get a chance of his 1st cap, though!
