    Button

Officially the worst goalkeeper in the league, embarrassing to be worse than Lumley
Goalkeepers with the lowest save percentage in the Championship:

1️⃣ David Button - 50% of shots on target faced result in a goal
    2️⃣ Joe Lumley - 51.7%
    3️⃣ Zack Steffen - 57.1%
    4️⃣ Ethan Horvarth - 60%
    5️⃣ Andy Fisher - 62.1%
    6️⃣ Ryan Allsop - 64.3%
    7️⃣ Dan Bentley - 65.1%

Any context to those percentages? As in quality of chances faced, expected goals, defensive blunders, pi ss poor defensive set up in open play and vulnerability to counter attacks?

None at all, he just very rarely saves anything that comes his way, on par with Crichton and Cumbes in my book, terrible goalkeepers

Honourable mention to Phil Whitehead, a goalchuckerinner of underestimated levels of general sh itness and incompetence. He was overrated with a very low bar which strangely seemed to make the goal look bigger than it was.

His only 'saving' grace being that he wasn't Paul Crichton, a keeper who actually expressed some semblance of ability when he came back to play against us later in his career.

Forgot about Whitehead, I think we can add Zuberhowler , Smith and to a certain extent Carson

Scott 'drop it' Carson. Northy who used to post on here asked him for his autograph at an end of season do, handed him the pen and said 'mind you don't drop it'. From what I was told Mr. Carson successfully held onto the pen but didn't look very impressed with Northy 😊 .
