To be fair to IB, Forest Green have lost their key forward players from last season to injury, and they were probably still short on quality for that level anyway, but therein lies the problem. Your best hope if the players available aren't really good enough is to make games an ugly battle and try to grind out some results, but it's difficult to imagine IB ever being that pragmatic. FGR are persisting in trying to play football and Exeter are just bulldozing them.

From what's been mentioned during commentary today, Green also lost 3 of their best players in the pre season tranny window as well.
