Thread: Engerland...

    Unhappy Engerland...

I watched England lose 1-0 in Milan last night.

Anyone care to chuck away a few quid on backing them to win the World Cup in Qatar?

We continue up the blind alley Gareth has been leading us for the last couple of years. Gareth's delusion is epitomised for me by his insistence on starting Sterling every game. Arguably the best coach in world football Pep Guardiola has been happy to dispense with the services of Sterling, but has retained Jack Grealish. Gareth, in his wisdom, begs to differ, he keeps Sterling in the team and has Grealish warming the bench.
It's going to be a laugh a minute in Qatar, I can't imagine Gareth will be in the job for long afterwards.

After we get knocked out in the last 16 (if we even make it) Southgate will be relieved of his duties.

How on earth is Maguire getting picked, it's just ridiculous.

We've said it before mon ami, it's harder to get out of one of Gareth's teams than it is to get in it.

At least he picked Pope, though if he still played for us I doubt he would have done.

Southgate is like Neville, mismanaging a great bunch of players (Slabhead aside), we need Sarina Wiegman to take over the blokes.

You have to wonder about Southgate when he plays the Arsenal lad, Saka, at left wing-back.

How can anyone think that is the best use of his talents? He is wasting a generation of good players.

He’s a prime example Swiss Saka , he s playing McGuire who rarely gets a start for united his confidence is shot anyway - same for Luke Shaw in the squad and yet left Sancho at home who is in form as it goes.
Loyalty is one thing favouritism is another , he’s on a sticky wicket for me - he’s the biggest FA yes man since the last FA yes man.
