7 Cinderella Rockafella? No idea who sang it
Think I need to listen to Alexa
It's back to a specific year, but which one? In this year, Rotherham was in the news as the final segment of the M1 from Rotherham to Leeds was opened. In politics, Enoch Powell was talking about Rivers Of Blood and Foreign Secretary George Brown was MIA drunk whilst the pound was suffering heavy losses. Motor racing lost one if it's greats as Jim Clarke was killed in a Formula 2 race in Germany and Virginia Wade won The US Open. On TV, Dad's Army made it's first appearance and the unfunny funnyman Tony Hancock died (literally not figuratively).
There is a twist. If you are a seasoned Poptastic quizzer then beware. If you choose to answer one of the glaringly obvious ones then be prepared to be ridiculed. There are at least 5 in there so beware. Leave those for the casual onlooker/player.
Song title and artists needed (from the year in question) and limit 5 entries per poster (if you are going for 5 please try and put them all in one reply) before you need to take a 24 hour break to give others a chance and NO GOOGLING PLEASE. Pull the answers from the depths of your brain.
