Last one before we return to footballing action and relieve the boredom of these past two weeks with nothing to talk about
Again it's a specific year, but which one? After a winter of discontent, Britain elects a female Prime Minister and she has a rough first 6 months as miners reject a 20% pay rise demanding 65%, bank rates hit 17% and milk prices rise to 15p a pint. On the brighter side, the first issue of Viz is published and the first JD Wetherspoons is opened in Hackney.
