In his cupboard? On the face of it the choice of new manager should be barn door obvious.Hursty gave his footballing life to Rotherham United and clocked up over 400 appearances I believe. He has been a reasonably successful manager with a number of promotions on very tight budgets. He always says good things about our team and conducts himself in a very professional manner. He appears to pass the good person test.
Ipswich of course was a disaster but mainly due to uncontrollable ( by Hurst) circumstances.
He has an outstanding reference available from PW ( trust me on that one)
Given all this it seems astonishing that he hasn’t got the job.
Of course there must be a reason.
Does anyone know why such a capable servant to the club, good person apparently, excellent CV,youngish and enthusiastic and already publicly endorsed by Warne as a certain future Rotherham manager does not seem to be in the running.
