Total guesswork about the 1921 debt to Purepay

Let's assume that the debt to Purepay including the accumulated interest since the outset is now £3.2 million.
Let's assume that the interest rate being constantly charged is 3% above the Bank Of England Base Rate.

Currently the Bank Of England Base Rate is 2.25%.

So from now on for the next year if the Base Rate remained at 2.25% here is the calculation of the total amount of interest that 1921 would be charged over the next 12 months :-
5.25% * £3.2 million = £168,000 of interest in the 12 months starting from now. That is £14,000 per month.

Given that 1921 will not pay anything to Purepay the debt at the end of the next 12 months
    would be £3.368 million.

Clearly, the BOE base rate will soon rise, and gradually 4.5% is not out of the question, making the interest rate on the debt 7.5%.

I have got less confidence in Jenkins, Nixon and Pattison than I have in Liz Truss and Crazy Kwarteng. Our 3 are only 'superficially' in charge.
