Great to be involved in a literal top-of-the-table clash on Tuesday.

Looked at the Wrexham ticket site and it's not offering any tickets any more (though doesn't say sold out either, just no seats are available to choose) - what was their allocation, 2,500? A little crazy for a Tuesday.

A draw isnt a terrible result for either side.

Wrexham seem to be the Man City of NL and we cant rely on others.

We probably need to beat them to give us a huge boost.

Whilst a draw wouldn't be a disaster, beating Wrexham, and going top in doing so, would give the squad a massive confidence boost for the rest of the season. It could also change things psychologically for both sides.

I know some people will think being top puts pressure on you to stay there, but at some stage we have to be top to win automatic promotion, and there is no better way to go top than by beating the team at the head of affairs.

Wrexham are marginal favourites to win with most bookies, Notts favoured by a few. If I was allowed to bet where I am my money would be on the draw at 5/2, but that would be a disappointing result if we want first place.

At this stage of the season - assuming we'd put in a half decent performance to earn draw - a point against them should keep the momentum going. I'd take that, definitely.

Lose, we'd likely have the stuffing knocked out of us and risk falling behind with the fixtures that remain in October, us facing two tricky games as opposed to their one.
