Villa were crap, we were crap, referee ruined any sense of a game.
Playing 45 minutes with 10 men, I'll gladly take a point but need to improve vs Palace
They were dire but could easily have won. We didn't look like a full strength squad that has had a month to rest / prepare for a game against a very average side.
Our discipline was poor and cost us but how can the Cowboy criticise the players when he was watching from his self-imposed exile from the touchline?

I normally don't criticize referees because they are human and make mistakes. Today though, the ref was truly horrendous. He seemed only to blow against us and wanted to give yellow cards to Leeds players. I know a villain got one too but it really seemed like ref was after us from the outset. Villa players fell over when touched and got free kicks, while Leeds players didn't seem to get anything. Ashley Young kicked/stomped on Aaronson (i think) but didn't get a card. I honestly didn't know what was going on today.
Also, when Sinnestera was knocking them in for Columbia a few days ago, he was playing in a different position today. Why would that be?
Because Marsch wanted to play Harrison the right. Left footer coming in on the right and sinistera using his right foot on the left. Really should have left Harrison the left and Sinisterra on the right. For next game will have to play Aaronson on the right and Rodrigo behind Bamford in the middle, like old times. We will see.
Agreed. Stupid Shatsmell ruined what there was of the game and was (at best) inconsistent in his interpretation of the laws.
Kicking the ball away to prevent a quick free kick is completely equivalent to attempting to block the same.
Either both are worthy of a yellow card or neither are worthy. Certainly at the very least a verbal warning, but I wasn't aware of Sinisterra doing much to deserve going straight for the top (and then shorts) pocket.
A decent 0-0 in the modified circumstances, but certainly not enjoyable.
Meslier was outstanding too
