SE London, I was on the Southbank for a while, next to the Tate Modern, then up by Sloane Square and a couple of other places in between.
My "London" tour (college) was SW7, W14, SW7 (again) and finally NW1 from 1981 to 1985.

Then on to B15 and B29 (bonus college).

    (Did I sink anyone's battleship?!)

You don't strike me as a SW7 type of guy (just saying).

It was where the college happened to be.

    And you're right, obviously!

Probably my best address was an apartment on Great Peter Street, earshot of Big Ben rattling out in the Elizabeth Tower; a couple of Lords/Ladies resident in the better apartments (I think mine had been servants quarters lol) - Black Rods London abode and the late St John-Stevas upstairs.

Blimey Black Rod as a neighbour - Interesting weekend washing-line attire there then Calvo.

Some serious swish abode postcodes Orgs - getting visions of you working for Diplomatic Protection Command & now residing on here with a Licence to Thrill.

Ps sorry to highjacking this sacred results thread Calvo.

You definitely win on Top Trumps.

Most of the postcodes I listed (at least the ones in in London!) were flats in the process of being ponced up for wealthy foreign investors. I can't imagine students being able to stay there these days?

Totster: if I were to tell you anything, I'd be legally obliged to erase your short term memory with an HM Government approved "re-educating" device.

    Don't ask. Just don't!

I also did a 12 month stint in County Hall (South), which probably has the largest car park in London, multi levels spread over the whole site
