EFL Trophy task to qualify for the next round

On the last fixture evening of our group these are the fixtures :-
    Barrow v Carlisle United
    Fleetwood v Manchester United U21

Manchester United U21 have 6 points and have won the group.
Second qualifying place is up for grabs.
For us to qualify we must get a better result than Fleetwood.
If we win in 90 minutes and Fleetwood draw and win on penalties or do worse than that we qualify.
If we draw in 90 minutes and win on penalties and Fleetwood draw in 90 minutes and lose on penalties or do worse than that then we qualify.
If we get the same result, or worse, than Fleetwood we go out.

Fleetwood will probably struggle against Manchester United U21. Fleetwood have thus far had 2 losing draws whilst Manchester United U21 have won both their matches in 90 minutes, thus 2 * 3 points.

Let's put out a strong team at Barrow and get it won in 90 minutes. If we go out we would be out of 2 'Football Prize Money' competitions, with only the FA Cup left to make serious prize money by getting to the 3rd round and a lucrative draw. We have not got a pot to put a plant in.

Manchester United U21's probably the best team we have played so far this season.

Good result for Leeds U21's at Tranmere last night as well.

Whatever the rights and wrongs of the decision to allow U21's into the competition, clubs like Carlisle need every penny of income and should take this competition very seriously.

We have to beat Salford or hope Liverpool U21 beat Accrington..

Wolves, Chelsea and Leeds United U21 are second in their respective groups, West Ham U21 still have a chance to qualify. All the other Premier League U21 teams have little or no chance to qualify. Any of Wolves, Chelsea, Leeds United and West Ham U21 playing Manchester United U21 in the final would fill Wembley on Sunday February 26th. So would Bolton, top of their group, versus Manchester United U21.
