Matchday thread: Rams v Port Vale

Any crystal ball gazing on this one?

Tuesday told me that we are short on squad depth so its a good job we have a fairly fit team at the mo, and I reckon our best will beat Vale's best if the whole squad orall but one is available

    2-0 Derby

Another 3-0 from me...for the same reason. God I hope this isn’t another false dawn and that we’re not getting ahead of ourselves.

2-1 will be a slightly bigger crowd, I always feel we play worse at home when the plastics turn up, but still think we'll get the win

They've sold all the 2700 seats we sent them. Yesterday morning we had 3200 home seats unsold. That's a 28K+ crowd so lots of plastics. As usual most of the empty seats are North, NE corner and the North end of the East.

Just about everybody fit so I expect
    Wildsmith
    Chester Davies Cashin
    Bird
    NML Knight Hourihane Barkhuizen
    Collins A N Other

A N Other? Not a new player, I'm just undecided. My brain says Dobbin but there's this little voice telling me he might just go with Osula.

    A win 3-1.

On paper we should win this one, let's face it if we want to push for promo then we've got to do well at home especially against mid-table sides. But we seem to have a habit of not turning up when the fans do in numbers!! A big gate equals pressure equals trouble.
1 - 1 draw and the 'floaters' have their customary moan!

I think I'd prefer to be called a "plastic" than a "floater" Mac

The floaters/plastics tend to have more than their share of the brown stuff!
It is, however, a chance to really get some momentum both on the pitch and off!
Let's hope we grab the chance.
