Beale becomes the second manager to turn down Wolves in a week.
A lot of truth in what you say Norton, but in his favour, he hasn't had the sack like many of the candidates mentioned so far. He hasn't played the game at a high level having gone into the game as a coach at twenty-one years old. He has gained a great deal of experience along the way, and I believe may have worked or has a connection with Neves.
As I understand it Wolves are expected to make an approach to QPR for permission to speak to him today. I also understand that there is a one-million-pound release clause in his contract. Gerrard and several others speak very highly of him as a coach.
Beale becomes the second manager to turn down Wolves in a week.
Being reported on Sky Sports that Beale has turned down the chance to talk to Wolves. A new search starts again.
I don't know what's more of a farce...the leadership of the Country or the leadership of Wolverhampton Wanderers! You couldn't write a sitcom about this because it would be thought so far fetched even the gullible wouldn't believe it!!
Davies staying in charge until 2023, seems sensible in the absence of a decent permanent replacement, and we have improved since he’s taken over.
Lopetegui still on the radar then?
That's probably the best thing for us now, and there's only 4 more games until Dec 26th. In reality Shi and Sellars have f@#£Ed this up royally and both should be removed, but they won't be! Hopefully a slap of common sense will slap them around the face and they'll more diligent from now on in their search!
It's not the worst decision to keep Davis and at least the players will know and it'll stabilize the situation a bit. Really odd for Fosun to make the move to let go of Lage without having a replacement in mind. Seems like they went into the situation caught with their pants down.
If Wolves go down, that'll be one of the worst choking jobs in the Prem. Far too much talent for Wolves to be in this position. Obviously have had some bad injury luck, particularly the attack but still enough in the squad to finish out of danger.
Most depressing soccer at Molineux since the back to back relegations. Can someone please score a goal?
