Clancy is the most incompetent referee in the Scottish game. It was him who sent off Ciftci in Inverness all those years ago for 'strangling the linesman' and grabbing an ICT player by the face. A red card that was later rescinded. F*cking moron.

Knew as soon as he came out of the tunnel we were in trouble.Young ref at Motherwell was poor but I think this is his first season. Clancy has been a ref for a fair few years so has no excuse for some of the decisions he makes especially the one last night. I think he will be trotting to the sidelines quite a lot when VAR is introduc ed.
Did anyone see the Killie supporter skelping the heads of the United players as they came out of the tunnel? Watt caught is hand and twisted it but there were a fair few players who got a skelp. Where were the stewards?
Why was Doidge allowed to play when he had already played for Hibs in the group stages of this year's league cup?
A better ref might have had Lafferty off before h-t. His antics trying to block Erickson from setting up his wall could have been deemed ungentlemanly conduct and he had previously shoved/ threw the ball into Freeman's face.He was lucky Freeman made nothing of it.

Doidge was eligible but agree Lafferty should have had a yellow for that nonsense with Eriksson. And smacking Freeman earlier so aye that would be a red. Clancy hates us right enough.

Don’t forget that it was also Clancy who couldn’t get the whistle in his mouth quick enough at Ibrox when we won a corner in the last minute.

It would be interesting to see the stats on how many times VAR ask the refs to have a good look at things they should have probably picked up, then average them out...

Not gonna happen I know, but.......

Is it still gonna be just the 4 "things" getting looked at???

VAR making its debut in the sell-out Hibs vs St. Johnstone match tonight. Kevin Clancy is the ref with Willie Collum the VAR official in Clydesdale House. Good god. 🙈
