Aye the Halifax Dukes Speedway set up with local boy Kenny Carter as the star man finished at The Shay in 1985 after financial disagreements with Halifax Town. They moved to Bradford to become Bradford Dukes.

I think from a financial point of view it is important that we progress to the next round, currently we are playing better away from home so a lower league team away from home might be our best course , plus it will save hammering Shadracks pocket if we were drawn at home !!
