Motherwell stop the rot with Sol's goal at Tannadice

Motherwell have Sol Johansen to thank for a 1-0 win at Tannadice to send Dundee United to the bottom of the table. - External Link

Massive win even if the performance not as pretty as some losing efforts recently.

Tough couple of games coming up so today eases the pressure hugely...get a result in Perth and despite ups and downs you'd be happy with where we are at the WC.

Great 3 points !! Eases the pressure on SH big time, but we do need something else before the WC interruption.

I see Dundee United are to appeal Watt's red card. Not surprised.

IMO he deserved a red card, his foot is about knee level with Goss and goes downwards as if trying to go down length of Goss shin . I don’t think at anytime Watt tried to play the ball

Surprise surprise. Watt's red has been downgraded to yellow.
