A thrilling end to this game and Charlton scored two goals late in stoppage time to earn a point against high flying Ipswich.

Most fans thought the game was dead and buried when Ipswich were leading 4-2 after they themselves scored two goals in early stoppage time.

But the Add1cks valiantly fought back with grit and determination. Terell Thomas, on his full league debut, and George Dobson netting at the end building on the earlier good work of Rak-Sakyi and Morgan. Dobson had the last laugh after winning the ball, ending up in the referee's book on 50 minutes, Ipswich gaining from a free kick and right at the death earning the Addicks a valuable point.
