I do find that mind boggling to say the least, but hey, we only come along to watch the team. As you suggest though Johnny, when you're short of midfield players it seems nonsensical to release a potential gap filler.
Let's hope the people in charge have something up their sleeve that we don't know about!

But not the worst advice, to be fair. :-)

Let's hope the time for reflection has allowed for the appropriate thought processes to have taken place! The brevity of the statement was probably accurate, but the strength of feeling expressed was unlikely to have assisted Wullie in his decision making at that point in time. I'm sure you'll agree that a red mist descending tends to obscure rational thought?
Now leaving the niceties to one side, it should have been abundantly clear to the management and players alike that a change of tactic is required to compete at this level. In the few games we have performed very well, Queens have used a high octane, high pressing game, allowing the opposition no time to think, while keeping the ball on the deck and using one or two touches. It's an exhausting tactic, but it demoralises the opposition and leaves them chasing shadows. Eventually, as they tire, we have more time on the ball, and with the clever use of substitutes the opposition capitulates. Effectively, that was the tactic we used to great effect against Edinburgh City in the back to back matches and also against Alloa, but unfortunately we were extremely unlucky on that occasion.

Indeed I do. Venting is one thing, shouting dog’s abuse is another. Particularly galling when aimed at individuals.

Let's hope the narrative forwarded by a couple of folk on here that Edinburgh are a decent side has now been put to bed. Pumped three times and dominated three times by an inconsistent QoS side

Why can't you just celebrate a Queens win without the need to denigrate the opposition.
Well done Queens and a clean sheet to boot. Mon the South.👏👏.

I would concur, - well done Queens. Now, can we have some more please? We are clearly able to beat the 2nd placed team in the league at a canter, so let's take that attitude and self belief into every match, including the Scottish Cup tie against Morton.

Brilliant, a lesson on being positive from some of the most negative people on an extremely negative site where people have being bullied into submission by those posting most recently. I've been praiseworthy towards Queens probably more than most, however was shot down in more flames than were visible last night for suggesting that Edinburgh were a poor side. Firmly believe that consistency is imminent and the playoffs are on

Let’s hope so. A nice wee run picking up points will hopefully see us climbing the table into a play off spot.
Young Gibson is a real prospect as predicted my many who’ve known him for years.

Been a few ups and downs but I still fancy us for the play offs ( top end that is) . We are a slow burner but things are definitely / generally improving.
