Don't think the focus on costs is sufficient. Trying to boost sales must also be part of a balanced books strategy.
Maybe Nelms needs someone to deal with the fans and let him get on with Campy.
Imagine running a business where all ( well 95%) don't jus want you to succeed but super succeed.....but still thinking and acting like the " customers" are a total pain in the Texan posterior.

    Am I missing something

No I think you have expressed the problem in terms that everyone can understand. Saying nothing, or stop digging a hole if you are in one, seems to be our football club’s way of dealing with customer relations. It is an alternative approach to passing on information and getting pelters from those who do not want you to be involved with the club.

On balance I think the say nothing approach is creating more unrest and building up more opposition than a putting out information strategy would.

    94 days 9 hours 4 mins......still no answers.

Are the questions still being asked by the 2nd biggest shareholder?

86 days since question was first raised here.

No further forward except an "unnamed" spokesman has scoffed at the rumours.

Since then we have a number of games off on a neglected park.

Still cutting the grass though ...that's a positive.

DFC are in no place to scoff at anyone. 😄

Wonder if it's possible to scoff with yer head spinning round.

    Anyway back to the sun.

Was it next season or next year we were supposed to move into Campy never?

Can remember spinning top wanting in this season and then readjusted for scamdemic.

Should be another readjustment along in time for season tic renewals.

I seem to remember reading that the spades would be in the ground in two years time (2019/20) after the first Pre Application Notice (PAN) meeting in the Ice Rink in September 2017.
Being in the new stadium by 2022 has also been mentioned.
Meanwhile the large For Sale sign for the 29.7 acres for the whole of the Campy Nou site is still on display at the proposed entrance to the new stadium development car parks.

Part of the problem in my view - all eyes on the Kingsway whilst the basics get neglected.
We are a Scottish football club playing at The tap o’ the Hulltoon usually in front of around 4000 people. Of course we all want to have dreams, we want owners with some ambition but the club has to be run properly whilst to magic beans take time to grow. There’s as much need to keep one eye on what is happening at Arbroath, St Johnstone, United, Forfar and Brechin as there is within the EPL where massive investment in huge clubs with global brands has come from the USA.

One man's dream is another man's nightmare.

Agree with above......for basics I'd say fundamentals......absolute foundation stone of running a football club.

Take the fans with you should be the building block for everything......not alienate, ignore and now and again patronise.
