    New Crest

I was surprised by how much I dithered over my vote. Always preferred the round badge from the past. But the Gaslight one is really nice.

I voted for the round one, purely for the Claret Lion, as opposed to the Gaslight blue one.

I'd be happy with either, tbh.

Both look good, don't know why they've left "FC" out?

I liked the first one when I saw it ... then saw the 2nd and liked that too ... Hmm I maybe like the 2nd one slightly more?... Will look again. Would be happy with either though ...

I was really impressed by both designs, but after some initial indecision eventually decided to vote for the Gaslight badge.

However if the round badge wins the vote that will be absolutely fine as well.

round one all day long. i would have put the star between aston*villa, but apart from that the round one was always classier than the lantern... always hated that shape.

Could actually have both - the round one looks great on claret and the lamp looks great on the blue away shirt, I like how our current crest looks on training kit, reflecting the colours, like a stencil I guess.

If it was left to me, I would just have a Lion in print with a larger Star above and AVFC stitched below...we had our most successful years with the round badge.

I really like that idea Westy! I'd vote for that if we had the option! We need to suggest it to the powers that be ...
