    Ruari Paton

Thats him bagged 10 goals so far this season. Not bad at all for someone I dont rate as a clinical finisher. The lad is far more effective when he relies on instinct rather than having time to think about a finish. Having said that he is a fine , hard working player who gets himself into good positions and deserves to hit the net like he is doing.

Love his never say die attitude.
Hasn’t he missed a couple of penalties this season also ?

Ruari is much maligned for not sticking away more chances but at least he is getting into those positions to have a go. If he was converting more of those chances he would be playing at a higher level for someone else. He is after all a Division 1 striker with a decent goal scoring record.
What is overlooked is his ability to hold up the ball up front and bring others into the game along with his work rate which is phenomenal at times. He also plays very much with his heart on his sleeve, unlike some others, and I for one would have him in the starring line for most games.

Not surprised at this news but as he is on a contract to the end of the season Queens will get a fee but suspect nothing will be done until the summer so Queens need to offer him a new deal to extend that contract.

The Perth Saints are always on the lookout for Queens players. Let's hope he stays in Dumfries.

Paton today collected his joint top scorer award for his 22 league goals this season. He’s going to be a big miss in and around Palmerston.

Signed a three year deal with Queens Park and I wish him all the best. He will be difficult to replace.
