I fear you're merely dreaming AF. Has to be worth putting a quid on 'Pool hitting double figures.
Sunday showed us that logic and league position don’t mean a damn thing. Or am I just dreaming?
Anyone?

I fear a mauling: 6-0 to the Scouse.
comfortable 2-0 win, the scouse cant even beat Leeds at Anfield. Then we can get knocked out by someone like Stevenage in the next round
At least there wasn't extra time to wear them out
Great effort by all.
Typically "British" rearguard heroics which, unfortunately, has me a little worried for Saturday's skirmish at MKD. Last night will have taken a fair bit out of the players. Will that have a knock on effect this weekend? Fortunately we can use up to 5 subs in 3 (4 counting half time changes) lumps which will help things.
Pleasing defensive performance. Some crisp passing going forwards which led to nothing. They had 3 times the possession we did, 3 times the shots and twice the number on target. Our best 2 opportunities were the Bird effort early in the 2nd half which went wide and Didzy's header which, more often than not, he would have done much better with. Sterling effort all over the park for us but only 1 in the frame for our MOTM..... Joe Wildsmith. When he first arrived I was not the only one to have doubts about him. He's come good and, whatever role Anang was brought in for, he will definitely be #2 when fit. For much of the game we were playing a back 5 with Sibs at left back. That didn't stop us getting forward at times. Unfortunately, all too often the last pass didn't lead to a shot.
That's the Milk Cup out of the way as a distraction and we can move on. Our involvement in the FA Cup should be limited to the Torquay replay, 2nd round tie at Newport, who aren't going to lie down and die and then, hopefully an away tie at Old Trafford to put another million + in the coffers. Then, after the first week of January, we only have the League to think about.
