    Huddersfield v Swansea

Shocking defending has marred our recent games. Only last Tuesday Hogan was unmarked for Birmingham’s first goal after 12’ as the ball sailed over the heads of three Swans defenders. Deeney equalised from a set-piece in the 89’, Manning leaving him unmarked for a simple close range tap-in.
RM said after the game “We have conceded far too many goals for the amount of shots and chances we give away, so we have an issue with that.”
Moving on to Huddersfield at the John Smiths Stadium on Saturday, our last game for a month. Bottom of the table they went to sixth place QPR on Tue night and won 1-2 so will have their tails up when they play us.
Huddersfield have only scored 5 goals in their last 6 games, but just 3 conceded.
Only five other teams have a worse defence than us, with 28 goals conceded.

Our defence is a priority to work on during the break.
Today sounds like it will be a tight game with Huddersfield not conceding many.
Not conceding first and then chasing the game would be a novelty for us.
Will Ntcham/Cabango/Cooper want to play today and risk getting injured?
Four players, including Allen going to the World Cup will be a nice little earner for Swansea, Fifa is paying them a daily rate per player travelling.
Apparently the rate is $10,000 per day which could buy us a pair of quality wing-backs in the January sales.

    Huddersfield’s 0 - Swans 0
Positives - we didn’t concede, we didn’t lose, we are only 1 point away from a play-off position
Negatives - we should have won, we didn’t win, we didn’t get the 3 points we deserved, we missed a chance to get into a play-off position, we haven’t won in 5 matches

Boys, our strikers are misfiring, Piroe, Obafemi, Paterson, they can’t find a goal between them.
We should have won this game at a canter. So many chances went begging. We nearly lost it at the end, Wood clearing off the line.
