After some success in their Cup games, fans were expecting this confidence to rub off on the players in the league. Against Burton away, the Add1cks started well with a 2 goal lead c/o Charlie Kirk.

It did not take long for Albion to work their way back into the game and that lead was surrendered when Burton scored their 3rd early in the 2nd half. Fortunately Rak-Sakyi came to the rescue near the end and levelled the game.

A six game thriller if anything exposed Charlton's weaknesses in midfield and defence as they were pushed back time after time with Burton pressing forward and did not adapt the tactics to suit the conditions.

Meanwhile Charlton yo-yo either side of mid table.

Burton goals: Oshilaja 38, Hamer 45, Adeboyejo 58

Charlton goals: Kirk 26, 36, Rak-Sakyi 76
