    World Cup 2022

The English already p*ssing me off with their moral high ground.

Qatar should never have been awarded it but it's happening and they just need to get on with it now without the constant calling out of human rights issues. They could always boycott the tournament if they feel that strongly.

Anyway... First game on Sunday 4PM.

Ridiculous decision to stage the world cup there in the first place.

But when you're a guest in some else's country then you abide by their laws.

It's pretty basic stuff but I'm afraid the english aren't very good at that wherever they go.

    C'mon Iran

    Meh.

I have no interest. Even the thought of watching England get done is no inspiration to watch.

Just another unnecessary gap in the real fitba season to suit a tournament in a non-fitba country.

Thank **** there will be Highland League games to attend.

Qatar world cup could easily have been avoided. If the big European and South American countries had said they weren't going when Qatar was given the world cup, Fifa would have had to move it somewhere else.

Too late to start complaining about it now.

2 days before the event starts and the organizers are telling the main sponsor they can't sell beer at the pre-agreed venues. I can see this being a right sh*t show.

They wouldn't have been allowed to sell beer in the stadiums if the world cup was held in Scotland.

    A non story.
