Thought it was a well run meeting and a cple of very informative bits.
You could feel the frustration in the room with the owners though.
Again I would encourage anyone who hasn't joined to join, best route for getting answers but I've a real fear we are gonna end up homeless.
Good summary Rross. The point about being homeless was made by several people and I thought, for the first time ever, that the new stadium would never be built. Very impressed with the thoughts from Dee4life board. Calm , logical and I wonder if Nelms realises that he is not dealing with a bunch of illiterate football fans. New members for DSA and Dee4life are a good way for fans to help.
yip, note to self though,"finish what im saying and don't leave the end of the sentence in my mouth"i 100% meant to say "him with questions"at the end of the sentence.
i was 100% sure i had said the full sentence until Frank told me that id stopped at "him" lol couldnt understand what people were laughing at

What struck me yesterday was the responsibility of being on the board of the society.......one wrong step and you lose a lot if not all credibility........although funny how Nelms seems to make blunder after blunder after blunder but is still a credible figure to some.
Getting answers and quickly re his earlier commitments is a good start.
How they get them even if the answers are unpalatable is the extremely difficult bit.
A lot of responsibility weighing on the shoulders of what now is now seven people, I don’t envy them and can only wish them all the very best.
I'll have a stab
I think fans had lost patience with pass the blazer......even if that wasn't directly linked to the society.
The society had to compete with various other Dundee related clubs etc and the society lost its way and relevance and fans trusted the yanks
I think you were part of the group trying to pick up the pieces, no easy task......and probably caught the brunt of abuse and cynicism.
I think the group in charge today have had a lot of that as well but the word stabilised was used yesterday, I think things have stabilised.
Meeting was forthright yesterday, some frustration and a small amount of constructive criticism but no abuse or even close to it.
Think everyone in that room had concerns of varying degrees of severity about what is potentially about to happen.
It's a pretty thankless task being involved with these organisations but I think they are heading in the right direction.......there's certainly no whiff of empire building.......which is always a concern to me.
