I watched the wheelchair final too. It was my first time and I was amazed at the ferocity, it was like a medieval battle, shield wall against shield wall but without the axes. A great victory despite the biased French linesman trying his best to help France. I found it more entertaining than ordinary rugby league, the tag system worked well.

England 25 New Zealand 25, England 14 points down with ten minutes to go, cracking game, proper RUGBY.

Yes enjoyed last 20 mins more Sinkov , there were a lot of upset Kiwis at the end - bigger game again this next weekend which should be another thriller , the springboks. Are a tough cookie at the minute though.

Another great game in prospect next weekend. I can't weigh this England team up at the moment army, are they a work in progress, or just going down a blind alley under Jones ? Jones talks a good game, but to me we've just been treading water this last two years, it's always jam tomorrow.

I'd switched it off long before the end because all I could see was another drubbing.

That was the sensible thing to do mon ami, no idea why I stuck with it, maybe it was just a morbid fascination to see how many points the All Blacks could rack up, I certainly wasn't expecting a comeback.
