    Morton v Queens cup tie.

A wee break from the ups and downs of our league campaign and on paper a straight forward home victory. But it's the cup and anything can happen ............ let's see !

The issue is we go into the tie in the week when we normally play badly. We need to break the cycle and play with confidence and self belief.
For once, we are expected to be thrashed, but if we perform like yesterday, we could cause Morton some real problem's.
A draw would be a great result.

Ah! I thought the Scottish Cup was still a replay( if it ended in a draw)? Oh well, we'll just have to hope for a win then!

Just think if that had always been the way we would never had experienced that wonderful night when we beat Ayr United 5 :4.

Too true, Stravaigar, - probably my best memory until the incredible 4-3 match with Aberdeen.

It just proves that although the league is our bread and butter and extremely important, it is the Cup and in particular the Scottish Cup which tends to stay in our memories.

Fingers and toes well and truly crossed for a positive result on Saturday.

Very tough ask this weekend away to Morton who are in good form at the moment. All I ask is for the players to give it their all and leave nothing out on the pitch come the final whistle so you just never know. Mon the South.

I see Scott Fox has left Queens and returned to Motherwell. Wonder what’s happened there ? Maybe he’s sick of being behind Max Currie.
