Yes that's spot on Spike but things just got that wee bit harder with the news that Fox has left and Cowie cannot play in this cup - tie

The timing of this is very strange considering Motherwell have no competitive games until Xmas.

He was on a season long loan. Sounds like he’s spat the dummy and is now away to Qatar on a 3 week World Cup holiday if rumours are true.

Welcome back to Palmerston our former Reserve goalkeeper Sam Henderson tomorrow to replace the departed Fox and young Cowie who cannot play in this cup - tie

I am dumbfounded by this decision and disappointed that Fox has gone.

However, - there is no point in bleating about spilled milk we will just have to get on with it!

Morton have an excellent home record this season so far taking 16 points from a possible 18 and only conceding 5 goals.

I hope we have a real go at Morton. They are obviously doing well playing in the image of their manager. If O'connor is only on the bench they must have a decent defence. I would love him back at Queens.
The fan backing at our 2008 trip to Greenock was fantastic. One of my favourite Queens away days. I know big Sean scored with a header at the home end but can't remember who scored the other.
Hope we go home as happy as the lads and lassies from 2008.

John Stewart got the second goal.

Definitely not a game we deserved to lose 4-1 but we somehow did.

Totally agree when you look at the match stats where Queens matched or bettered the overall attempts on goal and the shots on target. Two goals in the last minutes when Queens were searching for an equaliser resulted in the flattering scoreline for the Championship side.
