    Walsall

Any chance of a live feed somewhere or is it commentary?

No feed unless you can hijack a BBC transmission. Commentary within Cumbria i suspect - Barra aren’t playing.

There's fuck all that can beat us when we have had 6 days and 22 hours between the end of the last match and the beginning of the next, even if the opposition has had the same time between matches.

'Lump on' us still being in the FA Cup after Saturday.

I cannot envisage Walsall this Saturday achieving a 'giant killing'.

We need to win the match today. Any re-play would take place at Brunton Park a week on Tuesday. That would be 3 days after we play Sutton United. This team will be shagged out for more than 3 days after the Sutton match in which it will run until it is half dead.
Yes, in the re-play we would have home advantage and Walsall would also have played on the Saturday. But this Carlisle United team is so honest on a Saturday that it has a sub-optimum amount of energy 3 days later.

We most assuredly need to win today and reach an FA Cup prize money level of £108,000. That would be £41,000 for the first round win and £67,000 for the second round win. For a third round win there is a prize of another £105,000 and maybe lucrative television and gate money of 45% of gate receipts.

In the FA Cup the prize money for each winning club in each round is paid to those clubs after the final tie of the round has been settled.

We are fucked. I see a big fiscal loss in the year to 30/6/2023 with nobody willing to pay the numerous creditors. The big transfer fee add-ons are long gone, having propped up 1921 for a couple of financial years. Furthermore, Philip Day is now bearing down on 1921. He obviously wants significant repayments of the £2.5 million debt.

However, we are doing OK in the league so nobody cares. Not caring about the financial situation is a substantial error. 1921 can go insolvent and cease to exist.
