    Took far too long to make a change, their midfield were able to slip through ours and control large parts of the game.

    When we did get the ball down the pitch it was often unsupported with no overlapping options, and Sterling was that much of a passenger he might as well not have been on the pitch.

    When the first change was finally made (68th minute) we saw an attempt to play for a draw rather than win it.

    Thought the US came out of it looking better, and we’re probably considering ourselves lucky to get a point out of it… that kind of performance is going to get ripped apart by teams in the later stages.

    You’re right. He has a ‘one step at a time’ attitude rather than a ‘let’s set out to win this’ one.
