I was completely bewildered as to why Foden didn't come on. Instead Safegate brings on Henderson. Why oh why? He makes a few runs to draw defenders but not enough to cause too many problems. Kane was marked by 2 defenders for most of game, so why not throw in someone like Callum Wilson as well just for 5 or 6 min. At least try something. All the guys up front looked ponderous and slow. Like dinosaurs waking from slumber. And I'm being kind.

It's early still but Adams is a better player that KP was. He not as a good as KP was in distributing the ball but that's likely going to come. Everything else is there.
He's better physical play and avoiding cards and he covers more ground than KP did. He's also less injury prone.
It's all really academic since KP just acts as a pitch ornament that walks around with a penny on. However, If he had not left we would never have gotten him. If only we had sold bamford this past summer and bought a real striker.
