Imagine how you would feel if the boot was on the other foot

Just think about how sick you would feel if we were languishing in the Fizzy with little hope of possibly being a Prem club for many seasons and the Muckems had just been taken over by rich daddies of untold wealth and had appointed the set up we have at the moment.

It simply doesn't bear thinking about does it.

It's the ultimate nightmare for a football fan.

    And they're living it. 😁

I don't think about other to wish them promotion. 6 piony and 18 goals next season is what I want to see.

We have the stink of the Pardew / Ashley era to wash off us. They are still able to crow about that. The Derby traditions need to be restored.

Until we beat them again they still have the upper hand.

Couldn't happen. Their Poundland status would never attract elite owners.

I hope we never ever have to play the Mackems ever again and I hope they never get back into the Premier League

I'd love to see them do another drop while Gateshead get a couple of promotions and then have a local derby v the Muckems and Gateshead pick up their rightful 6 points a season.

Yeah but they ran off with the Bragging rights though.

Still need to get that stink off our backs.

I would prefer them in the Prem. Having the Smogs up too would be great. I know it's not a popular opinion but having all 3 big NE teams in the top flight brings a lot of eyes and prosperity to the region.

The only way the unwashed attracted seriously wealthy serious investors will be due to association with us.

However, like Harry Enfields' character famously says 'considerably richer than YAAW!' hahahaha
