    This is why I always smile about people who think they or what they do are important.
    We are just minute bacteria crawling over a rock.
    If we travelled the length of our galaxy, the Milky Way, at the speed of light it would take 100,000 years from end to end.
    Have a think about that with your bedtime cocoa.

    I am unsure whether you can refer to the Universe as vast, or indeed, any other descriptive of size. As far as we know, there is no outer limit, no edge against which to take a measurement. It is widely accepted that the Universe is expanding at an ever increasing speed into ‘nothingness’, infinitely if you like, therefore unmeasurable. Infinitely large or infinitely small, what is the difference?
