I am not defending the 'Activist from Hackney' but even I feel uncomfortabloe as to how the conversation went.

Me: Sistah Space.
SH: No, where do you come from?
Me: We're based in Hackney.
SH: No, what part of Africa are you from?
Me: I don't know, they didn't leave any records.
SH: Well, you must know where you're from, I spent time in France. Where are you from?
Me: Here, the UK.
SH: No, but what nationality are you?
Me: I am born here and am British.
SH: No, but where do you really come from, where do your people come from?

Not good is it, however, as is apparent if you read anything about Ngozi Fulani she tars all of us with the same brush, except the Irish.
Sadly, there will always be problems relating to race whether it relates to colour or anything else, however, it is down to individuals and we are all different.

How does anyone know exactly, word for word, how the conversation went, was it recorded ? A doddering old biddy assumed a black lady came from Africa, what's so outrageous about that ? And why was the black lady so evasive about her family's origin ? Was she determined to play the race card ? And who really gives a FF about this non event, except those with an agenda ?

I traced my heritage back a while ago and it's a mixture of Italian and Irish from Victorian English times. Honestly, apart from my dad's sperm bag I have no idea from where I came. You know mon ami, I'm wondering if this is just the latest dead cat thrown onto the table, it's such a trivial non-event but it's all the media can talk about. What are they trying to distract us from, there must be a hundred and one things more important than this happening in the world, but this is what they focus on. You have to wonder why.
