    Dunfermline v Qos

Time to place the (inevitable) disappointment of our Cup exit behind us and concentrate on the league instead.

I've said many times that the squad we have are more than capable of beating anyone in this league, - albeit this is quite a challenge.

It's over to you lads (the players) to deliver.

Can’t see us taking anything from this game unfortunately.

Yes a tough ask but Queens showed for the bulk of the cup game with Morton last weekend that they can compete with the top end of the Championship so you just never know. Eternally optimistic Mon the South 👏👏

Well done to the lads today who, according to the updates, put in a hell of a shift and may be disappointed not to have come away with more. This is the major source of supporters frustration when we see what this squad of players is capable of when fully focused.

Yes, a huge well done today. Just a pity for the players they didn't get the 3 points their efforts deserved.

Onwards and upwards, albeit that's been said before this season. Just need that consistency

Take a look at the crowds in the First Division yesterday. Almost 4000 at our game at East End Park and nearly the same at Falkirk, - far bigger than anything in the Championship. It only serves to demonstrate the amount of investment those teams can commit with such income levels, yet in the case of Falkirk they've been in this league for some time.
From our own perspective, we the fans need to be aware of the vast difference in income pouring into the coffers of Dunfermline and Falkirk every other week, before we apportion blame, and perhaps take something of a reality check?

This is not suggesting in any way that everything is rosy in the Palmerston garden, but a little acceptance that we don't have the luxury of an extra £30 000 to £45 000 every fortnight in the budget, and therefore, it's not exactly a level playing field.
That being said, playing to our capabilities and avoiding dropping points unnecessarily, while playing attractive football on a regular basis, will help to attract extra paying punters to ease the burden on the BOD.

Understand what you're saying there Jardi, however consistent crowd sizes in relation to those clubs may be due to them being (arguably) historically bigger clubs, particularly Dunfermline.

Might be conjecture on my part as I have absolutely no knowledge in terms of what the budget of any of the clubs are however looking at the players playing at all full-time clubs in league 1, I'd hazard a guess that QoS are not far behind, if at all.

Therefore given the fickle nature of fans (rightly so at times as most put a lot of hard earned cash into the clubs), they will look at the playing/managing side of things and blame that.
