Can any of our more seasoned posters remember this friendly game that took place at Oakwell on 26th February 1969 .
Was there any particular reason for this game taking place does anyone remember ? .

Started attending Oakwell during 1959/ 60 season so just missed this if it was pre season. I can vaguely remember reading abart the game but can't recall much more than that.

Yes I remember that game vaguely , at the time we used to play quite a few from different nation's , Eths reyt about Tel Aviv ( hapoel ) not sure if we didn't win 9-0 Norman Dean scored a few , Doggs is correct with Morton , "Greenock Morton" at the time , I think we also played Rapid Vienna ??? , I'm sure there's more alefta evva think !!
