True Detective now on SKY Atlantic.

I mentioned this series about three years ago and I’m now watching it again.

If you haven’t watched it it really is an excellent serial killer series and very different in style.

Mathew McConaughy is spellbinding in his part and Woody Harelson is superb, the whole cast is top notch.

A superb theme tune as well, I’d never heard of it before but it really captures the feel of the programme.

I’d suggest downloading this and binge watching it over Xmas but do it quickly as it’s only available for a short while longer.

Best crime thriller of the past gif knows how long in my opinion.

    The theme tune......

It is indeed an excellent series and I thought that series two is even better. The soundtrack for series two is Leonard Cohen’s ‘Nevermind’……

Season 1 is universally regarded as the best of the 3 by most Kets, I liked series 3 as well.

Series 4 is about to be released and based in Alaska with Jodie Foster leading the cast, the storyline looks superb.

    Can’t wait.

Glad I watched series one again.

Enjoyed it more than first time around as I’d missed a lot of plot detail first time around.

The real serial monster in this is very well hidden for a long time, but, if you know what a good actor he is in other series then it becomes more apparent as he’s underused in the first 6 or 7 episodes.

    Truly brilliant series.
