O/T Get your snow shovels ready

According to the Met office, nearly all the North of the country will be blanketed in snow come mid week.

Apparently it's not the 'beast from the east' but a heavy downpour of snow arriving form Norway! Wonder if they've called this right though? According to the weather maps for Rotherham for the next 7 days it just shows cloud then cloud/rain for most of the week with a bit o' sunshine thrown in.

Last time I got snow shovel out ready from the shed, it didn't snow.

Went to bed at 2.30am this morning, no sign of snow or frost on the car, just a light covering
of snow when I got up.
Son lives next to Northern General Hospital where he works, can not get the car off the road
at the back of the flat he owns, he said its still snowing there.
I normally get my snow shovel out & clear the snow from around the bungalows near me, but
its melting now.
May get the snow shovel out, & put it in the porch ready for any snow that comes.

Snow shovel still redundant, just looking at me in the porch, could be returning to the shed.
