    It's only a couple of days ago you were telling us about £200 million coming in when we get promoted mon ami, and army was telling us about new investors just waiting to chuck money at us. And yet the reality is that we're trying to pick up a player on the cheap from a cash strapped Championship club.

    I'm still inclined to ignore the speculation and go off what was published and signed off in the last financial statement.

    An unfortunate symptom of football.Get to the EPL and your problems are solved.Get relegated from the EPL and your problems begin.

    That well known absolute rotter Mike Ashley might just have given us an in mon ami. Let's see what January brings.
