A lot of one hit wonders tend to be "novelty" records but still plenty of bands who seem only remembered for that one hit single. Two of my favourites were "My Sharona" by the Knack and "Howzat" by Sherbet (Still not smart enough to post clips though I'm afraid &#128542

Easy to post s link Omeg.

Go onto YouTube and choose your song and start to play it.

Underneath the clip there’s a “share” icon.

Tap on that and then tap on “copy link”.

In effect it’s like it’s then copied onto the end of your finger ( best way I can describe it )

You then go onto your forum message, tap the message box and “paste” will appear, tap “paste” and it attaches the link to YouTube and you then just “send” your message as per normal.

Also from 78....Blue Oyster Cult with Dont Fear The Reaper......another unique riff.

Don't know how some of these are deemed “one hit wonders” however its surprising how some tunes are forgotten

It just shows how stupid the Yanks are.

Tainted Love wasn’t even the best hit by Soft Cell in my opinion, Bed Sitter is my favourite.

Madness had tons of hits, The Prince was superb.

I remember seeing Annie Haslam enjoying a drink, sitting on a bench outside The Fountain pub in Clent. She was at that pub quite a lot back in those days.

I didn't know that snippet Kets.

Our area was quite popular with music stars in the 70's with Roy Wood living here and Robert Plant also being on the patch.

As t e e n agers some mates went carol singing in Hagley in the mid 70's, knocked on a door and it was opened by John Bonham and Lulu, a load of other "names" were at the house.

They listened to the mates sing and then handed them a massive wedge.
