John Bostock has signed for 18 months, happy with that

Him and Matty Palmer should work a treat just behind Ruben 👌
Looking fairly strong in the midfield now with Ruben, Palmer, Bostock, O’Brien, Bajrami and Franics.

Interesting.
Bostock is also well-known for his set-piece delivery and, while we predominantly play short in those situations, Williams believes it will still be a valuable trait.
He said: “In reality, what we’re seeing is a rolling set-piece. It’s harder to strike a stationary ball than a moving one, so what we try to do is work opportunities for our players to use the ball’s momentum to generate curl and power.
“John is one of a number of players who will be able to hit balls into dangerous areas with pace, power and whip – and with him being left-footed he’ll be able to help the likes of Kyle Cameron and Adam deliver from that side of the pitch in open play.”
Looks a cracking signing on paper, lets hope that transfers to the grass. Ruben replacement either in January or end of the season.

Interesting!
Being left sided, as mentioned in the article, means we add some balance to the midfield which should see more attacking play down that side than we see at the moment. Don't see him as a replacement for anyone, just another option which we obviously needed if we are to go for the title. A first look at his stats suggests he is very good for this level.
