Thread: Border Force Going On Strike

  1. #11
Al that's whataboutery fella, your original post was about folk changing their xmas plans due to striking BF workers - I'm in agreement that if we can find warm, comfortable accommodation for Albanians that "might be fleeing a family feud" we can bl00dy well make sure our own citizens can heat their homes.

By the way the migrant died of diphtheria and that's a concern, brits are vaccinated at an early age but we don't know about the others which could further stretch the NHS.

    Today just keeps giving!!!

Went to the races at Ascot, Perth and had 1 winner out of 10.

Got up at 0245 to watch England play France.

Now you are telling me I may not be able to get back into the UK after 6 weeks down here in Oz!

Manchester airport, where we are due to land is closed due to snow.

Booked on a train home from Manchester airport on 30th December and even if we get through Border control train probably not going to be running!

And I have to get up again at 0400 to watch the Sunderland game. The only ray of sunshine is I won’t have to go to the match as I usually go to all the North East games when I am in the country.

Oh it’s going to be over 30 degrees every day until I leave and plenty of great food and wine so maybe life’s not so bad.
