No other EFL club has re-arranged any match for Tuesday 20th December, which is odd. Surely it was the obvious thing to do, even to agree to it by early last week given the likely event of today's matches being off.

There will be little or no frost this week, too much cloud cover and crucially wind direction all in our favour, been quite tough these frosts, you wont get caught out this Winter will you.
At least a week ago the best weather forecasting sites were predicting that from yesterday evening until at least Wednesday the temperature would be no problem in getting this match played. It was thoroughly logical for the clubs to agree last Thursday that if the
match was postponed on Friday morning the announcement of the postponement would include the time and date of the re-arranged match.
Given the forecasted obviously benign conditions it was obvious to arrange it for tomorrow evening, since the next scheduled fixtures are on Monday 26th December. Yet this re-arrangement of Northampton Town v Carlisle United seems to be utter genius in comparison with all the other EFL clubs, none of them having made the same arrangements.
They are currently frying eggs on the pavements of Northampton.
