Osula was as you said very likely, and I think his suspension kind of made it inevitable, he hasn't made the impact expected and isn't available for 3 games and he wasn't brought in by Warne Given the way the club seem to do business, I would expect Warne to have been planning for that.

Roberts is likely to stay, he isn't getting games because Warne is rightly reluctant to change a winning team and a defence which is keeping clean sheets. If the players happy then wouldn't see an issue, there is no guaran tee he would get more game time elsewhere and clubs no the set up at derby is very good. But we shall see.

I reckon Lampard will be sacked before Dobbin goes back to Everton!

OK heres 3 strikers that Derby could possibly get on loan. More for discussion than any concrete info they are being looked at.

Jonathan Leko - Birmingham George Hirst, Leic City, currently at Balckburn but the word is he will be recalled. Jordan Hugill, Norwich

Okay...I’ll play...full of New Year cold and bored .

Warne presumably knows a lot about George Hirst because he played for Rotherham...in a struggling Championship side...two seasons ago... and failed to score in over 30 appearances.
On the other hand...a year older and stronger he went to Portsmouth last season and averaged a goal about every three games in League One...which would be very useful.

Comes from Sheffield, which might help, and at 6’3’’ would seem to be likely to have some of Osula’s attributes if we’re looking like for like.

In comparison...Hughill seemed to have one good season with PNE eight years ago and Leko doesn’t seem to have scored much anywhere.

Carlos Borges please. We won't get him but I'd love it, just love it if we could.

Osula wasnt being played as a striker anyway and we have cover for his position so no real loss

Its another right back we need first up, and then a striker followed by a central midfielder.

The big player is McGoldrick, we need to keep him fit

You seem to have completely missed Warne saying he wants a right back and cover for NML and Barks... or maybe you know more than the Head Coach...

The only news is that we have sold Jack Stretton to Stockport County and Cybulski's loan at Solihull has been extended. Also an informed source (who to be fair hasn't been that informative since Clowes took over ownership), has said that Roberts will stay.

But absolutely no indication as to who Derby are looking at, except that Striker, Right back and 1 possibly 2 wide players are what Warne wants, or at least what he said publicly.

    Another possibility to consider?

Todd Kane has struggled for regular minutes at Coventry City this season, and the Sky Blues’ recent loan signing of Brooke Norton-Cuffy may make things even tougher for the 29-year-old right back in the second half of the campaign.

Kane is out of contract in June, so a loan or even a free transfer is a possibility.
