    Was Germany's last gasp equaliser in the 66 WC Final Offside?

    This discussion has been had before and many disagreed. I have finally found footage that seems to show he was. A good 2 yards offside. The shot has just been struck, the German player at the far post is offside under the Offside Law of the time.

    if we average how far that and Frank's were over the line they both would be goals so all good

    Maybe but what of the fourth? 'Some fans are on the pitch, they think it's all over' Shouldn't the ref have stopped the game at that point??

    Ah but the first few goals were a bit iffy, so it should have been 0-0. Applying retrospective legislation it should have gone to penalties which would of course have meant Germany would have won

    All irrelevant Gunt as England won 2-1 in the 90 minutes.
